If the names of Vidhu Vinod chopra, Big B, Farhan Akhtar ,Abhijat Joshi are associated with a project you cannot doubt the pedigree.Add to it mysterious, intriguing teasers and trailers with Big B on a wheelchair and his deep baritone in the background,Thriller as a Genre and only 103 minutes of run time....All point to a edge of the seat crisp foolproof Thriller ...Cannot fault the audience if expectations are high....
What you get actually is a below average ,slow ,open book plot. Even the dumbest of the dumb moviegoer can predict what is going to happen ..to top it all the director at the climax takes you back and explains in detail in case you have dozed off in between...
Surprisingly for the genre, the music and soundtrack is very good , going with the mood of the movie but sadly songs are not what you have come to theater..Atarangi yari is refreshing and Maula and ter bin are soulful
Farhan Akhtar is excellent initially but loses grip as the plot moves on and Amitabh has very little to do but manages to excel with his quirky dialogues ,expressions and delivery..

The movie can be a one time watch sans any expectations and the tag of Thriller...
As for me, the wait for a tout edge of the seat thriller with the team continues....
Aankhen was very close....
